"Just like a neuronal graffiti, the last image frame was dancing indecisive between his blinded photo-receptors and his immediate memory." Little he knew the image would continue to develop, nurtured by his subconscious, into a whole new idea.
The project Moving Canvas by students from a University in Berlin got my attention because of its pragmatic demonstration of what a neuronal graffiti could be (since it has never been defined). Imagine the passengers of this train being bombarded by a persistent image that can't be explained (up until that moment they are unaware of the device doing the projection) and yet triggers a full idea that will persist long after the image is gone.
The majority of our thoughts cross our minds leaving a random signature that is quickly forgotten. They persist and over time seem to appear somewhere else. Tired of letting them fade, I've decided to make them last in another medium that is not as volatile as my own mind.
